Illamasqua ‘Omen’

How about a bit of acid bright, in your face, UV green for a Monday? Well, Illamasqua’s ‘Omen’ should make your weary eyes pop wide open.

This is two coats of ‘Omen’ without a top coat because the UV trio (Ouija and Séance being the other two plus a UV top coat) dry to a satin sort of finish – not quite matte but not glossy. It applies really smoothly, but I’d wait a little longer between coats than you might normally to avoid pulling and bear patches being created near the nail bed. Other than that though, it’s a really nice formula and definitely makes a statement!

I’m lucky in that I co-own a business so I am the boss, which means there is no such thing as NSFW nails. For me, all colours are work-appropriate, but I get that this colour might not be appropriate for all workplaces! Would you wear this to work, or would you wear it at all?!
