Confetti Cake Pop is the 2nd anniversary celebration polish for Lac Attack. It was created and named by Lac Attack’s birthday contest winner Ashley P. who requested a polish that contains bright rainbow-colored matte hex and circle glitters in a white base.

Now, I’m not a fan of milky bases with coloured glitter. I just can’t get into them, and I’m afraid aesthetically I’m still not on board with them BUT I have tried enough to be able to comment on formula. Usually I feel like I’m dealing with a streaky mess, and yes as is typical for white polishes the first coat was a bit patchy, but the formula was so much easier to control than any other comparable shade that I’ve tried so far. It felt far more solid with the second coat, and three coats gave a completely solid finish and this is the closest I’ve been to liking a milky based multi-coloured glitter polish! I know that doesn’t sound like a hugely positive review, but if you knew the strength of my dislike for this sort of polish generally, you’d know that this is quite high praise! If this sort of polish is your bag, you should definitely give it a go.
