DIY bead necklace tutorial

Sunday night… What better a time to get out those old beads ?! I’m sure you have some lying around, so why not have a go at making a beaded necklace like the one I showed you in last Monday’s “What I Wore to Work” column ? The tutorial is super simple, a good old classic by Martha Stewart. You can get the steps and diagram right here. Martha suggests using wooden beads, but I went for something a little more elegant using Czech glass beads. The quality of these beads was beautiful and the result is a perfectly weighted accessory that fits fashionably over a collared shirt or casual sweatshirt.
