Style Diary: Pyjama Chic (Wild Child Stories)

Let’s face it, the transition from Summer to Autumn dressing can be tricky, and I am the first one to admit that I can get it wrong. Leaving the house without a jacket and freezing your butt off, or wearing something too heavy and positively roasting in the September sunshine, it’s hard to strike the perfect balance! I always find long cardigans and kimonos add an extra layer of warmth without over-doing it, and the length gives more of an autumn feel to the look. I picked up this kimono in Penney’s recently and I love the pyjama vibes its giving off, perfect for a lazy off-duty outfit like this.

I kept the rest of the look pretty simple, adding a touch of gold accessories to keep it from verging into complete pyjama territory. The weather is still pretty warm here in Dublin which is forcing me to hold off on breaking out my lovely winter coats juuuust yet, but in the meantime I’ve really been enjoying putting together my AW Coat Edit series, to help any of you who are undecided about which to invest in for the coming season, including myself! My first post was on the leopard print coat, and yesterday’s was all about the cape.
