double polka dots

I’ve taken my black and white obsession to a new level with this polka dot skirt. Such cuteness is just too much for me to handle; the only logical reaction is to throw more polka dots at the problem. I could have gone further folks, but I reined myself in with polka dots two ways, and toughened the whole ensemble up with an oversized leather jacket I snagged in Seattle for such a steal. This is the leather jacket I’ve been looking for my entire life — it’s vintage and it’s soft and it was not $$$$$.

But what I’m doing next is a whole bunch of yoga, because I’m dying to pair this skirt with some form-fitting cropped tops somewhere hot. I’m so over being cold all the time — if I’m not in Europe in the winter I’m in SF during our iciest months. I want to go somewhere warm, and do nothing for a weekend this spring, and all I plan to bring is this skirt and a tanktop or two. Maybe I’ll head towards Palm Springs. Or Ecuador. Any suggestions?
