studio 207 with aran goyoaga

While shooting at Aran Goyoaga’s workshop the other month I couldn’t resist snapping a couple behind the scene shots of her dreamy studio. Her eye for detail and texture is evident everywhere; from each hand selected piece of darling dinnerware, the colorful magazines and cooking books, or the little jars holding spices, flowers, and other garnishes for her cooking and shoots. The space is north-facing in the heart of Seattle — all openness, height, white, clean, brightness, and a vintage utensil collection beyond your wildest dreams. When not watching her effortless-appearing food styling (which I possibly should have watched closer as it is, of course, far from effortless), I was poking around this gorgeous space, making mental notes for a future atelier of my own someday.

Going back over these images has given me a kick in the pants to finally reorganize my pantry this weekend. If you’re interested in seeing this space for yourself I highly recommend taking a workshop with Aran — she is super knowledgable and such a patient teacher. Has anyone else taken any workshops lately? Let me know in the comments, and until next time — let’s stay in touch! Find me at pinterest, twitter, instagram, and facebook.

Happy Weekend!
