SOAK -‘Blud’

About a year ago the internet was ablaze with the sounds of Derry’s teenage sweetheart SOAK. Now signed to CHVRCHES label Goodbye Records, ‘Blud’ is her first single of 2014, and is set to be the starting point of an extremely exciting year for her. The most overwhelming element to this single is how outrageously adorable it is. As soon as Bridie Monds-Watson sings ‘I’m in your blood, you’re in my blood’ for the first time, she rips at your heartstrings so hard and you’re captivated until the final chord. It’s an extremely strong start to 2014 and with a ton of tour support slots with George Ezra and CHVRCHES lined up, it looks like this year is going to be enormous for this 17 year old star in the making. The ‘Blud’ EP is dropping on vinyl and digitally on March 17th, keep your eyes peeled.
