Muse Apparel's Style Off
I was really excited when Muse Apparel asked me to take part in their Style Off contest starting this week! What is it, you ask? It's a contest that runs each week in April where 2 bloggers style the same dress in their own way. Who am I "competing" against? I have absolutely no idea (I'll find out the same time you will!), but I'm sure the other blogger is going to look amazing in her own way, and I can't wait to see how she wears this amazing dress!
The best part about the contest?? The winning "style muse" each week will be able to give one voter the dress as a prize for voting for her. A few questions asked by Muse:
Why do you love the dress your wearing?: Anyone who reads my blog and/or knows me knows that I can't get enough of geometric prints lately. When I first saw this dress, my eyes were immediately drawn to the circles which make the dress seem so mod, but when you look closer, there are these pretty clusters of flowers which give the dress a really feminine touch. I knew that this dress would be really fun to play around with.
Why did you start a fashion blog? How did you get started? There are a couple reasons I started a fashion blog. The first is because I'm obsessed with fashion and I've always been into documenting what I wear. In a previous post, I mentioned that in high school, I used to keep a written log of my daily outfits so that I would never wear the same thing twice. Fashion is unique to each person, and to me, it has become a fun process to document and blogging has become a great tool to do that. Secondly, people would always ask me if I had a blog when I would be wearing something out-of-the ordinary, or unique. I realized that other people were maybe inspired by what I was wearing and that pushed me as well. Getting started was easy...I just handed my husband a camera and asked him to take some photos. He still takes my photographs today. :)
Fill in the Blanks: I couldn't live without (closet item): (I might have just had my husband answer this for me because I don't know!!) my first pair of Louboutin shoes, which were black peep-toed heels. They have been worn to death for years & years but are my go-to shoe for anything.
I would describe my style as: Unique, Fun & Quirky
I love Muse Apparel because: Muse Apparel has gorgeous pieces of clothing that fit into my wardrobe so nicely. They not only fit my unique style, but they are easy to pair with every day items as well.
