Where to buy a Santa Suit in Seoul
As SantaCon Seoul is happening this Saturday, starting off in Beer O Clock in Sinchon (how apt!) at 6pm, I thought I would write a quick post that might be of use to people looking for Santa Suits in Seoul. There are many small Daiso-type stores that you might find a good deal in, so check out the stores in your local town and hopefully you will get lucky.
HomePlus has a great selection of Christmas decorations at the moment including small, artificial Christmas trees, battery-operated fairy lights and much more. They also have santa hats, reindeer ears and other cute accessories to make your house, office or costume more festive! Both Homeplus and H M also have Christmas jumpers for sale, so if you have brought the Irish tradition of doing the 12 pubs of Christmas while wearing ugly sweaters to Korea, that’s the place to go!
If you want to buy a Santa suit online, there are 2 main options; Halloween.co.kr or G-market. Halloween.co.kr is an online fancy dress store with an incredible selection of festive outfits. You can both rent high-quality suits or buy your own. They should ship with 1-2 days so if you plan on going to SantaCon this weekend, get your order in ASAP! My friend Pratishka also found a great fancy dress store called Joy Party, which had a great selection of halloween costumes so probably also has a great selection of santa suits and the like.
Directions to Joy Party fancy dress store:
-From Hapjeong Station take exit 3
-Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you see Bobo Hotel and turn right.
-Continue walking straight for about 300m and you should find Joy Party on your right.
-Joy Party is in the 5th floor of the YB Building. There is a CU mart on the first floor.
