Graduation Card

It’s graduation time which gets me reminiscing about my time in high school. I had some great times but mostly I’m glad those days are long gone. I miss the younger me but I love who I am now. I’m wiser, stronger and more confident.

Anywho, I digress. Today I’m celebrating Collin’s graduation. Collin is my friend Kim’s {The Cookie Puzzle} son. He will be graduating this Sunday and Kim is so proud of him and I am too. Although Kim and I have never met in person we’ve had a very close friendship for a couple years now and I feel like Collin is part of my family. In my mind I like to think I’m his aunt. Lol!

To celebrate I made him a special graduation card. It uses a digital image from The Greeting Farm. I colored it with Copic markers and stamped some stars around it that are embossed with silver embossing powder. The card itself has a blue mat that peeks through behind a slightly smaller black mat embossed with an argyle pattern. Finally, the sentiment from Paper Smooches ties in the fun spirit of the card.

I hope Collin loves his card. Way to go bud! Sorry I can’t be there in person to give you a great big hug. We’re all so proud of you. I know you’re mom will be crying like crazy.

Supplies:

Digital image: The Greeting Farm

Sentiment: Paper Smooches

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black

Embossing powder: Ranger Liquid Platinum

Copic Markers
