Cookie Bouquets

It seems like it’s been forever and a day since I’ve shared a project post with you. Work and life have been so crazy. This past week I completed an order for a friend for her daughter’s sweet sixteen party. She asked if I could make cookie bouquets and she would provide me with the containers and floral accents. It’s been forever since I’ve made bouquets but I was happy to do them.

Each bouquet had different floral accents but all were glittery, colorful and fun. This was also my first time working with edible images (sorry I blurred the pics for their privacy). I was real nervous to use them but was pleasantly surprised with how easy they were to work with. I used the technique of applying them to fully dried cookies with a mixture of corn syrup and water.

I stopped baking the sticks in cookies a long time ago and find it much easier to do “faux” cookie pops. The sticks are attached to the back of the bags with tape and then tied with ribbon to keep it all together.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you all have a wonderful, blessed week.
