Happy 1st Birthday Sweet Girl

My Dearest Baby Girl,

This last weekend you had a triumphant sort of day. You turned one.
To say I wasn't ready for it would be quite an understatement. I do not know how this past year could have possibly got by so quickly! I am so happy to see you grow and so proud of you...but I already miss the baby you once were.
Its okay though.
Because I get to watch a tiny little human grow into a beautiful woman, one tiny step at a time. Its hard to explain how proud you can be of someone for simply existing...but that's exactly how I feel about you. Sweet girl, you are an answer to so many prayers and you are so very dear to my heart.

Your sweet kisses are plentiful. Your smiles are many. And as hard as it may make some nights, I secretly love that you sleep the best when we are snuggled up together. I can't tell you how many tears of joy have been shed late at night as I stare at your sleeping face and thank God for every little piece of you!

You're walking around, getting from place to place, and it is your new favorite thing. Quite possibly, the best thing ever...in the whole history of everything. You are so proud of yourself with every single step.
I am too. Very proud.
Sweet girl, you are full of personality and spice! I love you, I love your personality...I adore your spice...even when its difficult to deal with. I trust it will come in handy later on in life!

I love the way you dance to anything that may even remotely resemble music. The way music makes you laugh and smile so! Perhaps you have a future in that.
I love that you love to draw already. Your face is so focus and your demeanor so calm when you draw. I hope we can share more moments in art in years to come.

I love the way you love your daddy and your "BroBro"...you really do adore them. You also have them wrapped around your finger! I assume that that also will come in handy later in life, yes?

Here we are, at one year.
Which really means you have been around and known to us for about 20 months now. I grow to love you more every single day.

I am an extremely blessed mama to have both your brother and you! I can't wait to get to know you even better over this next year. To see what you learn and what you do, to learn more about who you are. You, sweet girl, are the most amazing little girl I have ever known.
