Conference Dressing

On Saturday I attended my first blogger conference, #BlogPodim, where I learned more about Google Analytics (THE gold standard and a must have), a quick and dirty on staging pictures and my absolute favourite session was learning how to pitch to magazines. I was able to see some old blogging friends, Jenny from Crazy Style Love and Kristin from Suburban Faux Pas, and meet in person some “virtual” friends Dajana from All Kinds of Lovely. I had originally planned to wear my midi skirt & sweater last seen here, but it was raining and cold so I changed my outfit and decided to switch it up and paired this Chico’s Long white button down with the best faux leather leggings from Ann Taylor. Instead of adding heels or sleek booties I updated this look by pairing it with the flat of the season – a pair of brogues! The best part is they have a monk buckle!! They remind me of the shoes I wore in grade 9, wow I feel old right now…and now I’m over it.

It has been quite chilly so I knew I had to add a topper and decided on this over sized knit cardigan that is a cocoon silhouette. I am not the best photographer so these pictures don’t do the cardigan justice or me. I could have clipped the back of it to make me look better, hahaha. When I was trying this outfit on another woman saw me in the change room and proceeded to purchase both of these items at Ann Taylor.
