They say the first step in dealing with a problem is admitting you have a problem. Hi, my name is Mercedes and I am a product junkie. Whew, there I admitted. Seriously though as much as a like trying new products my savings account would like me to ease up on spending. The problem is sometimes we I buy things and only use them once or twice because I discover I don't like them. Then off to the product graveyard that is the cabinet under the bathroom sink.
Beauty box subscription services are perfect for people like me, I love that I can spend a few bucks and sample products before committing to full sizes. I had the opportunity to preview a subscription box for hair care from curlBOX. Over the past 2-3 years I have had a few beauty subscription boxes and even a few nail polish boxes, but this is the first box dedicated to all hair care products.
The value of this curlBOX was great, I had three full size products and three deluxe samples with 1-2 sample packets. The box more than paid for itself. Also included in the box was a product postcard listing all the products in the box , price and where to purchase. Additionally there was also a seven page pamphlet with additional product information and hair care tips.

I have been wearing my hair straight more than I planned this summer but I did give it a few breaks and left it curly. During those times I started using the products from the box; so far I used the Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo, The Amazing Botanicals Honey Condish, and the Curls-R-Us curl definer. My hair loved all three of these and I will be purchasing. The Giovanni tea tree shampoo is great for dry/itchy scalps. The Honey Condish left my hair feeling soft and moisturized. The Curls-R-Us curl definer has great slip and didn't weigh down my curls or leave a sticky film.
