Make-Up Look: Classic.
In the colder months, (I'm not yet kidding myself that it's spring!), a subtle version of the classic 50s pin-up style makeup look is one that I always go to and never fails me. Must-haves for this look include an 'oh-so-naturel' pink flush of blush which for me, comes in the form of Bobbi Brown's Blush in 'Nectar', a serious amount of winged liner which at the moment is my Maybelline Gel Liner and lastly a Snow White-esque matte red lip and for this, none can compete with MAC's Ruby Woo, the fairest most classic matte red of them all. I've also had a slight love affair with Maybelline's, 'The Rocket' mascara which I find ticks both the volumising and lengthening boxes- perfect for giving your lashes that enviable, pin-up style flutter.
Base: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation in 'Shell', Bobbi Brown Blush in 'Nectar', Benefit Hoola bronzer.
Eyes: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette- 'Foxy' on the brow bone, 'Tease' in the crease, Benefit Brow Zings in 'Dark', Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in 'Black', Maybelline Volum' Express the Rocket Very Black mascara.
Lips: MAC Lipstick 'Ruby Woo'
