Valentine's Lush Haul.

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend the Regent's Street Valentine's Day Event and Launch of their brand new book, Danger: Cosmetics to Go. As a big lush lover (who isn't) I was very excited to have a good mooch around their incredible Valentine's collection and pick up a few bits myself to take home. So if you've decided to sack off dinner plans this Friday in favour of a pamper night-in with your friends or Valentine then look no further...

Lush's limited collections are always divine and their Valentine's one is no exception with plenty of their ever-popular gift sets and themed bath-time treats. I managed to (with a very kid-like grin) get my mits on two of the gift sets. The bigger set, Neon Love, £17.95 features all the necessary elements for the perfect Valentine's themed bath-time: red 'Fun', a quite literally fun plasticine- like product which can be molded into bath to create shapes and can be used as a shampoo, bubble bar or soap (one heck of a mulitasker!), a 'From Dusk Til' Dawn' massage bar, 'Neon Love' soap, and Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie. The smaller Toucan Love set, £10.95 is filled with a scaled-down bath time recipe of a 'Tisty Tosty' bath bomb and 'Close To You' massage bar which smells like the heavily worshipped Candy Moutain bubble bar. Both of these would make perfect Valentine's gifts if you've got a lucky lady that you'd like to treat with some good old relaxation time.

I also picked up three extra bits from the Valentine's Collection. Firstly, the Love Locked bath bomb, £6.95, oh how cute is this? It's made with an abundance of sensual oils and apparently features another bath bomb inside?! Certainly intrigued by this one. Secondly, the Valentine's answer to Snow Fairy, Prince Charming shower gel, £4.65 for 100g and finally a lip-balmy-esque gloss The Kiss, £5.75 which smells as good as it looks and it looks sooo gorgeous.

The event was not only to show-off the bootiful Valentine's Collection but also to launch their brand new book, Danger: Cosmetics To Go. The book tells the story of the company that created Lush, Cosmetics To Go and how and why they created some of their most iconic products, a definite must-read for all Lush fans. The book is not only beautifully written with some really interesting content but beautiful itself, in and out and will definitely spark-up your coffee table I also had the chance to meet the beautiful author Mira Manga who very kindly signed my copy and told us all a little bit about the book.

Finally I also grabbed a few none-Valentines products including a Lemon Melt Shower Jelly, a Mask of Magnamity face and body mask, 'Vanillary' Gorilla Perfume and the 'Angels on Bare Skin' face and body cleanser.... well you know it's good to stock up. Vanillary in particular has become a favourite of mine. It's a solid perfume which smells heavenly and is perfect for throwing in your bag for on-the-go scent enhancement.
Woahhh, so that was a bit of a mammoth post, don't say I haven't given you any gift ideas. So if you're planning a pamper night this week then Lush is only around the corner to fufill all of your pampering needs and more. I for one, cannot wait for what is going to be the most relaxing Valentine's weekend...ever, thank you Lush!
