Apartment Living in Colombia
Sometimes we need to transport ourselves to another life. What is it like to live in an apartment elsewhere in the world? The solution was quite easy. Rent one on our next trip together — instead of staying at a hotel. The opportunity presented itself, when I worked with Oasis Collection on this giveaway. As a result, I planned a trip down to Medellin, Colombia with Andy over Veteran’s Day weekend. We stayed in a luxury building in the El Poblado neighborhood in Medellin. The property is called Woodside. Serving as our home base, we spent our trip exploring the neighborhood, having home-cooked meals, and starting our days with Juan Valdez coffee from the cafe nearby. While we were staying here, it seemed to thunderstorm everyday at the same time — giving us a chance for more quality time together. It’s such a treat to have a place to call our own, even only for a brief moment of time. We threw our daily stresses our the window, and enjoyed life together.
Nothing beats having an entire place to just ourselves…
