Sunflower Fall mantel and diy banner

Happy day to you all!

Today, I am sharing my our sunflower Fall mantel and diy banner.

Who loves Sunflowers?

A tall North American plant of the daisy family, with very large golden-rayed flowers. Sunflowers are cultivated for their edible seeds, which are an important source of oil for cooking and margarine.

I do, I do! I bet you do too.

Last year I bought the prettiest sunflower banner for our mantel. I found that at Home goods.

Usually I switch them out from year to year but I decided to go with the same banner this year.

I did change things up though and actually dug out a diy Fall banner I did years ago. You can see the tutorial on it. I am sure the pictures are terrible, however, you can certainly make one yourself with my easy instructions.

The little family sign you see is from Walmart by plaid. I simply painted it with Chalky paint I had on hand.

What I love about the banner is that the fabric is precut and it is like a drop cloth material. Very easy to work with and the print was neat as well. The banners came from I believe Hobby lobby. You have to go back and look at the tutorial to verify that info. My memory is foggy, this was a long time ago.

Now how about some more of the mantel and decor.

Cute owl came from Home goods and the glitter pumpkins from Dollar tree.

The faux foliage in the urns came from Home goods as well.

Thanks for stopping by today!

If you are not a regular here, I sure would love to see you back again.

You can check out my Fall archives if you have a few decades or minutes to spare.
