Introducing Walt & Jessie

Say hello to the Ginger babies, Walt and Jessie, the cutest kittens you've ever met and the latest additions to the house. If you're familiar with Breaking Bad, you will recognize the infamous pairing. We chose these names not only because we both love the show but also because Ginger cats have a reputation for being mischievous and slightly mad, so we thought the names suited them perfectly! Though our Jessie is a girl and not a Meth drug dealer, ok???

These two were found in a park in Gainsborough at about 8 weeks old by a friend of Matt's mum. We think that they were dumped because they have a chronic respiratory disease that they will have throughout their lives. While I can't understand why someone would dump them and it breaks my heart just thinking about how long they were alone in the cold and rain, I'm so happy that they have found a home with us.
Already in a week's time Walt has doubled in size, his eyes have healed and he is so active! Our Jessie girl is still sickly and has a way to go before her snuffles are gone but I have no doubt that she'll catch up to her big brother. All they need is some tender loving care and people to wait on them hand and foot, which they have in spades here!
