In this last Monday (05.05.2014) happened the MET gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, which includes the most anticipated red carpet of the year in the fashion world (or so they say). This 2014 edition celebrated the exhibition: "Charles James: Beyond Fashion", as well as the reopening of The Costume Institute, which has undergone renovations and now reopens as "Anna Wintour Costume Center". After a fair amount of, well, ridiculous outfits on last year´s punk themed red carpet, this year's Met Ball saw a return to slicker, more traditional black tie, in the form of ultra-classic white tie for traditionalists and white dinner jackets for the more fashion-forward attendees (good job Frank Ocean!). Here are my favorite looks from the night of one of the strongest red carpets of recent years.
Hugh Jackman (wearing Tom ford) and Deborra-Lee Furness. And the lovely ladies that made the night a lot cooler (wearing Stella Mccartney).
