•All eyes continue to descend upon Ferguson, Missouri. In it’s 9th night of unrest, even the National Guards that were called in have been unable to bring peace. What will bring peace? possibly truth, justice and due process. 31 people including a Holocaust survivor have been arrested during protests. US Attornet General Eric Holder is said to be visiting Ferguson on Wednesday. Reporters had to don tear gas masks and some of the protesters were wielding molotov cocktail. (NY TIMES)

•Don Pardo, the voice of NBC’s long running ‘Saturday Night Live” passed away in his sleep at his Arizona home. His voice anounced the begining of the show “It’s Saturday Night Live!” before introducing the castmembers, guest host and musical guest. He was also the first announcer to be inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame. (THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER)

WORLD NEWS

•Community Health Systems Inc is the latest cyber attack victim, and the social security numbers and personal data of 4.5million patients has been compromised. The attackers appear to be from a sophisticated hacking group in China. (REUTERS)

•Welcome to the NFL! The main highlight from the Redskins-Browns game was Johnny Manziel flipping off some Redksin fans. He failed to convince that he was deserving of the starting QB job, completing only 4 of his 11 passes for 38 yards with a sack. (USA TODAY)

•Digital Media company Stylcaster has been acquired by Scottsdale AZ based SheKnows Media. Stylecaster was founded 7 years ago by brothers Ari and David Goldberg. (FASHIONISTA)

•Funnyman Kevin Hart is engaged to girlfriend of 5 years Eniko Parish. He shared the news via his twitter account last evening.

FASHION

•Alicia Keys’ Black Ball, which benefits the charity Keep a Child Alive will honor Givenchy Artistic Director Riccardo Tisci on October 30 with the KCA Humanitarian Award. It has raised more that $22.6 million so far. (WWD)
