Vegas Vacation

Follow my blog with Bloglovin I am guessing from the photos below you see that these pictures were not taken in Winnipeg! I was so happy to have had a little break from the cold and visited sunny Las Vegas! This fantastic trip was taken with my entire family which included my mom, dad, sister, her husband and my husband and we got to do so many activities! Everybody got to do something fun whether it was going to the top of the Eiffel Tower and watching the water show below at The Bellagio or riding the rides at the top of the Stratosphere or even a gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel. There was a few wonderful highlights and one was attending an afternoon tea at one of the new hotels the Mandarin Oriental with my mom and sister. There were so many little delicious treats and the tea was delightful. Of course I wore a hat to my posh afternoon tea event. These pictures below were taken at Pahrump Winery. We all took a limo tour there and it was fantastic. It is a one hour drive there which seemed like no time sitting in a limo. Once there we had a delicious gourmet lunch, a tour of the facility and then of course some wine tasting. One thing I always like to do while packing for a trip is to make sure all my clothing goes together for mixing and matching. I usually want to pack my whole closet but it all just won't fit in the luggage! :) This trip I decided that I wanted to wear this beautiful bright blue. I think that different shades of pink, orange and yellow accent it perfectly so I packed various pieces in these shades. Taking a few pieces of jewelry is important too and so I decided to take my bangles from dconstruct to add some color. Wearing their pieces when going to the airport is a smart idea as they use eco-friendly materials to make their jewelry which means they don't set off the metal detectors! Well that sums up my wonderful week and I hope yours was awesome too!
