Dark Brown Smoky Eye

As I mentioned on Facebook, I suspect my skin is breaking out from a new skin care product I am trying. I am giving my skin a break, so this week it is just a close up of a smoky eye. Forgive?

I have been wanting to do some deep smoky eye looks, and I think next week I might try something similar but with an inky black smoky eye. Maybe blend out the edges with a green. This week I went with a deep brown, and I may even keep on with several eye looks using various shades that are really dark. I like the look of just the outer corner smoked out, but sometimes it’s fun to push it and do the entire lid in a super dark color.

Have you ever braved a super dark lid? Do you think this kind of look should have some false lashes for added drama, or is the deep color drama enough?
