Purple Priority Smoky Eyes

In case you are wondering, yes I am wearing a thermal. I am often only glam from the neck up. That’s just how I roll.
I couldn’t wait to get that purple eyeshadow on my eyes. It’s one of my new favorite purples. I normally wear warm purples, but I kind of like the cooler tone of Priority Purple. Next time though, I think I will balance it out with a warmer crease color. This time I used a few shades from the new Maybelline The Nudes palette to test them out, and the one crease shade I felt was appropriate leaned a bit cool toned. I did subtle contouring with the lighter shade of the Milani baked matte bronzer, and while the bright light from my window lit my photo well it did fade my subtle contour and blush a bit. I need to learn more about my camera. :/
I did what I often do with colorful eyeshadow, and kept the rest of the face neutral. I used browns, but I think next time I might actually do pinks. I think with this cool toned purple some pink cheeks and lips (maybe even mauve) might bring a bit more color to my face without me venturing into clown territory (though I admit, sometimes I am a bit clownish and happy to be there LOL!).
