Hamptons Radiance Bronzing Powder

I was super excited to try this after hearing some buzz on social media and reading some reviews. These bronzing powders have shimmer in them, and are meant to impart a glow to the skin. I love this powder, but it didn’t work well as a bronzer. I still recommend trying it though, and I will tell you why.

Hamptons Radiance has four warm shades of coral, peach, and browns and in it that when blended together make a really pretty bronzed shimmery orange. To me, this comes off more as a bronzed blush shade than an actual bronzer. I actually don’t recommend bronzing your skin with this.

This has a very nice, silky texture and applies nicely to the skin. The shimmer is finely milled, and I didn’t feel like it emphasized larger pores. I didn’t find this to be very pigmented, and had to really build it up to have a swatch to show you. This is the reason I am not totally in love with it for a bronzing powder. Because of the amount of shimmer, if you build this up as a blush or bronzer you will be too shimmery by the time you get the color payoff you would expect. However, I still love using this because I feel like it enhances my matte blushes and bronzers. I have even contoured my face with a matte bronzer and put this lightly across my cheekbones and it looked really good.

Pale skin tones may be able to wear this as a blush, but everyone else may want to think of this is more as a highlighting product. For that purpose, to me it is great. It has a really luxe look to it with a super budget friendly price tag.
