Makeup Geek Utopia

I have a major love of Makeup Geek pigments. They come in beautiful colors and are SO affordable (only $6.99 for 2g). Utopia is a gorgeous antique gold glitter pigment. It is described as a duochrome, but to me it doesn’t seem to come off that way. It just looks like a sparkly antique gold to me. It doesn’t seem to lean too warm, and it is supposed to work with just about all skin tones.

I am not used to using chunkier texture products like this, but I found it easiest to pat it on. While this is supposed to not have a lot of fallout due to it having a somewhat creamy texture (not creamy as in a cream product), I did have fallout. It was easily cleaned up with some tape though. This is so pigmented and pretty, and with a proper sticky base for glitter stays put until you take it off. If you want to see it in action, check out these smoky eyes.

Right now this has got to be my favorite pigment from Makeup Geek. While it is a glitter pigment it isn’t crazy blingy. I think it is just the right amount of sexy sparkle for amping up your smoky eyes game. I wish a photo could truly capture just how pretty this pigment is. If you are planning to place an order, I highly suggest throwing this beauty into your cart.
