i always love seeing what topics kiki & her co-hosts come up with...it is always so fun to read all of the other posts people put up...woohoo!
the theme for this month: fall favorites!
with it being fall now (YES!) i had to share a picture a home i saw while getting the mail for work yesterday! it was my first pumpkin sighting and it made the little fall lover in me jump for joy!

// favorite fall fashion/clothing item: this outfit right here is screaming my name. so is this one. but if we're chatting from my own closet?...hmmm...the only thing i have a picture of is this blue cardigan/wrap thing that i wear with jeggings/leggings, a t-shirt, and boots.
// favorite fall drink: serve me up a warm mug a chai tea latte and i am in heaven. honestly i love that drink all year long (iced during the summer) but something signifies fall when i have that first warm chai tea. mmmmmmm. and if i'm being honest i'm not really a fan of the pumpkin spice lattes *gasp* i know - but they just aren't my jam.
// something on your fall bucket list: i really, really, really want to go to a local pumpkin patch. i've said this for the last two years and just haven't been able to make it out there...sad day friends, sad day! but this year if my schedule allows i will be galloping through pumpkin patches.
// favorite fall recipe: hmmmm i like a lot of fall recipes. anything from a double baked butternut squashed stuffed with sour cream and chives (i'll have to share that with y'all it is delicious) to these INCREDIBLE pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
// favorite fall scent: i like spicy earthy tones. cinnamon, cloves, amber, all of it. i'm really eyeing this beautiful candle.
// favorite fall holiday: halloween baby! if you've been a follower of me during the fall then you know that i post all about my decorating and parties and halloween favorites! woot woot! bring it on!
// what fall (weather) is like where you live: psshhh i really, really wish that we had seasons where i live. up-state south carolina gets those beautiful seasons with the changing leaves and all of the crispness. for instance last night's low was a glorious 60 and it rained all day yesterday, and today's high is 71 with rain and a chill...that will mostly be our fall. crisp mornings, crisp evenings, rain, and high temps during the day. it stinks. i want a real fall. BOOO.
