Our Boyfriend’s Back and We Couldn’t Be Happier!

We’re “beyond thrilled” about the return of the boyfriend jean…even though we’ve adjusted to the tight-fitting (hard-to-get-into) skinny jeans, commonly referred to as skinnies. Not as comfy as we’d like and a lot tighter than the favorite slouchy and extremely comfy boyfriend jeans we used to wear. Good news…the boyfriend-inspired fad which slowly crept away to make room for the skinnies are back! So excited the menswear trend is emerging again. We have no idea how long this style will last but we’re determined to keep it going as long as we can. Time to make room in your closet for the “latest” style boyfriend jeans…most of them featuring tattered knees, shredding and distressing (some heavier than others) placed just-so on the leg. Wear them rolled up with ankle booties or wear long covering your booties. When it get super cold…pair with warm shearling UGGS.

The three pairs of jeans seen above are from Current Elliott’s latest grouping. (those were the first jeans AFGG ever wrote about way back when…) The first pair and our fave is the Fling Boyfriend with patches (patches are so “in” this season), the second pair are called The Boyfriend (sound familiar????) and third pair are just called The Fling. Just fling them on the floor and put them back on the next day! My mantra totally…just ask my hubby!
