Nutella Bread Pudding

I have to say that I make a mean bread pudding. It is one of the few desserts I make that I will actually take to parties or potlucks… it’s that good. But now it’s time to try this Nutella Bread Pudding recipe to see if the yummy chocolate hazelnut flavor will add even more oomph to my go to dessert.

Ingredients for a Serving of 4:

  • 3 croissants (preferably 1-2 days old)
  • 3/4 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup pecan halves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Nutella Swirled Pumpkin Pie

OH MY! There are a ton of Nutella Recipes on the net but this one sounds so interesting to me. Plus it’s just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Try out this recipe and do one of my little tricks… take your whipped cream and add a 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg. Mix it up really well and transfer it into a glass bowl. The little brown flecks and the nutmeg taste will make everyone think it’s homemade!

Ingredients for an 8 or 9-inch pie:

FOR THE CRUST

  • 1 and 1/2 cups gingersnap cookie crumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

FOR THE FILLING

  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 15 ounce can pure pumpkin or 2 cups fresh pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (or light brown sugar, I prefer dark)
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger*
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves*
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg*
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Nutella, warmed (or 4 oz melted high quality chocolate)

Nutella Crescent Rolls

We always have crescent rolls in the fridge. They are so handy for recipes and can turn typically boring dishes into something fun. Kid don’t like your chicken stew? Plop some crescent rolls in muffin tins, fill with stew and bake for 10 mins. Voila – a fun meal that the kids will love. I can’t resist trying this recipe because it is incredibly simple.

Ingredients for 8 crescent rolls:

First of all, say that three times fast! While the name is a mouthful these scrumptious little squares of heaven are totally worth it. To tell the truth, I’m not even sure I want to share these with my kids…
