The answer is YES. And chances are, you can just grab this in the drug store or the grocery checkout line. It’s matte, and it works great as a base under lip gloss OR as a standalone. Mary Kay’s Satin Lips
Yes, we are going classic here. The dual set includes an exfoliator and a moisturizer. The “Satin” line is a godsend to people with dry skin and dry lips–especially in the wintertime! Call or send a text to your Mary Kay lady, or if you don’t have one, just visit the Mary Kay website and they’ll hook you up with one close by. Suggested retail is $18 for the set. Can’t beat that!
Ultra Repair Lip Therapy
If you don’t want to go to the trouble of ordering through Mary Kay (even though it’s totally worth it for the Satin Lips), there is an alternative. Sephora sells Ultra Repair Lip Therapy. It leaves your lips feeling super soft, and it absorbs quickly so there’s no sticky residue. It’s slightly minty, and it’s paraben free. We did find ourselves having to apply it a little more often than other lip balms. But at only $12 it’s definitely worth a shot.
NUXE Reve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm
This balm is a bit pricy at $19 for a .5oz container, but it’s worth every dollar. It’s made with precious plant oils, shea butter, vitamin E, honey derivative and it’s paraben free. Basically, it will give you perfect winter lips. It’s available at your local Walgreens store.
