pot pie and the fisheye

As part of the Samsung Imagelogger program, I received a 10mm fisheye this week. I am so excited to do some photowalks with this baby. The NX300 with the 10mm just might be my new pocket camera.

Since I was making my favorite meal, I figured I give the fisheye a whirl.

Homemade pot pie is my ultimate go to comfort food. It used to be Macaroni with butter, grated cheese, salt and pepper but my pot pie recipe keeps me making it often.

It's really quite simple and you may already have the ingredients in your home. That is exactly how I created it... by grabbing stuff I had.
1. Line a pie plate with a premade pie crust. 2. Pour in one small bag of mixed frozen vegetables. I use the ones without lima beans. ick. 3. Over the vegetables, pour one can of CREAMED CORN. Replaces the gravy from traditional recipes. 4. Add cut up chicken breast meat, fresh or canned. 5. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top, if you have it. 6. Season with a bit of ground pepper and salt on top of the huge pile. 7. Place second pie crust on top of everything and pinch edges shut. 8. Use a knife to cut in some air vents.
Cook at 350 degrees on center rack until golden brown.
Serves One.
Just kidding. Sometimes I share.

Have a great day.
