Berry Cheesy Crescents

A couple of weeks ago I went to Bingo with some friends...No I didn't win...Again!
But I did come away with an idea for a new treat. Thanks to Becca for the inspiration for these delicious crescents. And really, what could be better than crescent rolls filled with cream cheese and fruit?

This is a super simple and fast recipe and if you're like me you will likely have all the ingredients on hand at any given time.

I don't know what it is about crescent rolls but I always have several (and I mean at least 4) tubes of them in the fridge. You never know when you'll be inspired to create something yummy and everything is better with crescent rolls!

So if you don't have the ingredients run to the store and you can have these ready in about 15 minutes.

Here's what you need:

4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
2 Tbs. sugar
blackberries and blueberries
1 tube of Pillsbury Crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll out the crescent rolls individually.
Place the cream cheese and sugar in a bowl and whisk it until smooth and completely incorporated.
Place a spoonful on each crescent roll, distributing it evenly among all 8, and spread it in a small area (about halfway to the tip) at the widest point of the crescent roll.
Place 3 blackberries or about 5 blueberries (or any mix you prefer) in the cheese and roll from the widest point to the tip; just like when making regular crescent rolls.

Make sure you keep the open sides facing up. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes.
Serve warm.
Mmm mmm Come to Mama!
Serves 8 rolls
Enjoy!
