TREND ON TRIAL: WINTER WHITES

Do I look like a giant snowflake? I'm happy with that. Winter whites is a trend that often pops up on the A/W catwalks but rarely gains traction, right now however it's most definitely having a moment: I counted three pairs of white jeans in ASOS office alone today, bright white denim is reserved for summer no more! I'd say white jeans are the easiest way to work winter whites, not as chic tailored looks (check out the Mulberry A/W'13 catwalk look below: LOVE), but still pretty good.

My winter white jeans are an old Sass & Bide pair which I hacked about three inches off, giving them the raw hem that's currently in fashion favour. It's worth noting though, that wearing white jeans in January will probably lead to puddle splatter so don't go cracking out any brand-new or favourite pairs...
