there must be a full moon going on because things at work have been ridiculous. i've been in a foul mood lately and it is times like this when you count on your friends to help you through. i'm a veritable chatterbox normally but when i get stressed out, i become very quiet. it could be a kind of compartmentalizing reaction, but don't quote me on that. my friends I and K have been weathering the storm with me, as is my best friend my husband. they just get it.
i wrote previously about a work uniform that i have been favouring of late and that it is my go to. not to be forgotten (nobody puts baby in the corner), the pencil skirt is one staple in my closet that will also stand the test of time. this combination brings a fun side to the staid uniform. I got me this beautiful blouse, which instantly cheers me up when i wear it. bold, bright and beautiful - just like her!
