as you know, i have been wearing more midi skirts for some time and despite some belief that petites ought not wear such lengths, i don't think i will stop wearing them. mind you, these skirts do need height. wearing flats would just mean i'd be sweeping the floor in it. that being said, midi skirts give me a chance to wear my platform heels. i could ostensibly hem this skirt a little, but i'm enjoying this length right now.
my friend
L picked this skirt when we saw it at zara and she instantly knew it would work. our other friend recommended a crop top and we both smiled and said "we're moms. just because we can, doesn't mean we should." besides, even if i could pull off a crop top (the jury is still out on that one), where would i ever wear it? i will pass that baton on to other more fierce ladies!
