mother's day: gifts
every year at mother's day, my mom gets pretty much the same gift from all of the kids. we pool together and get her a gift card at her favourite spa for facials. she adores them. there used to be a time where we would collectively wrack our brains to try to get her a gift, but it got progressively harder and harder as the years went by. what do you get someone who has an established regimen in beauty and skin care? we used to get her clothes and purses too, but that as well, was getting challenging. around this time, i always look for something in case this is the year she doesn't want her regular facials gift. this year, i found some cute things, and thought i'd share with you. and for me? all i want for mother's day is to sleep in, then go to our usual family brunch and hang out with my family.
monogrammed square paperwhite soapset: you had me at monogrammed. pottery barn gives you the option of picking the font and deciding an initial or monogram. so gorgeous! i love gifting anything with initials or monograms, because it's something personal and special just for them. i may want some now...
tory burch gift set: i am the worst at picking out fragrances for others, but a gift set is always a good way to let someone try a new scent. if it doesn't work out, the bottles would be beautiful as a display on her make-up table.
bestie I has also shown me some amazing jo malone scents as well and a scented candle like this nectarine blossom and honey candle would be beautiful for the home.
