Mr. Fred

Last weekend, Wesley and I were out shopping in Phoenix and came across the cutest store in the Biltmore Fashion Park. It is called, SMEEKS. This store is mainly a candy store but has random knick knacks too. This is where I found FRED. He is a food face. How could I pass this up? With this plate, Wesley would eat anything and everything, and he totally does. Here are a few of our creations while playing with this plate the past couple of days.

Wesley loves putting the food on the plate and creating a new look for Fred. I love it because I am able to teach him different foods, and can say things like, "eat all of Fred's hair off," and he does. We haven't had a battle all week on how many more bites he needs to eat before he is done. This new addition has been really fun for our family, and has been a great tool for me to encourage Wes to be creative while having a positive experience with food. I highly recommend Fred!
