31 Questions About Me Answered

I might have already written a lot of things on my blog but some of you might still wonder who I am or what I really do. Well, those questions might not all be answered on this post but some might. I just wanted to write more about myself since I seldom do that. I got all the questions from the beauty blogger tag from Donah of SweetJellyBean. I personally enjoyed answering all the questions here and it would be fun if you answered them too - doesn't matter if you're not a beauty blogger! Shall we begin? Is your hair naturally curly or straight? My hair is naturally straight. Modesty aside, people keep asking me whether I've tried re-bonding my hair but much to their amazement (or disappointment) I have never tried that. I used to dye my hair a lot but it hasn't turned curly or wavy.
Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon? It really depends on what I wanna achieve. I already tried dyeing my hair at home before but the results aren't as fabulous as one would achieve in a salon. I have my hair dyed at Nhur Abubakar's Hair and Makeup Place and the results are awesome all the time!
Do you wear the same style every day or change it? I guess I'll bore you with this one but I wear the same style everyday. When I was younger, I would wear hair clips and pins, headbands and all sort of hair accessories however when I got older I stuck with having my hair down all the time. Fun fact: I seldom tie my hair up cause I don't like the heavy feeling that comes with it.
Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon? I suck at doing my own mani and pedi! I can't seem to do it right so I always make time for a pedicure at my favorite nail spa - Nails.Glow :) I am not too fond of getting manicures though.

How often do you change your nail polish? I change them twice a month cause that's when I also get my pedicure. I don't wear polish on my fingernails though on regular days; just on occasions like parties and photo shoots. I want my fingernails looking clean and neat and normal.. :)
Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer? No matter what season, I am definitely keen on having my toes polished twice a month!
How long does it take for you to put on makeup? This can be a bit tricky because there are two occasions where makeup time varies for me. On regular work days, it can take between 5 to 10 minutes! Yup, I am that fast. I dislike putting too much makeup (foundation, concealer, eyeshadow and all the hullabaloo) on regular days. I stick with simple under-eye concealer, pressed powder, cheek blush, lighter shade of lipstick plus a brow pencil. Now, when I do my makeup for a TV shoot which falls on Saturdays, it would take me 45 minutes to an hour cause we're talking full makeup here.
What do you do first, face or eyes? Face would be my answer. I always apply concealer first followed by foundation. Right after that, I move to applying makeup on my eyes. I have gotten used to doing that since forever!

How often do you wear false eyelashes? On very special occasions such as TV and photo shoots as well as parties and events. I wouldn't wear them on regular days because they take too much time, work and precision!
Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it? In my earlier blogging days, I used to collect a lot of makeup but as I got older into blogging, I would only buy makeup when I need them. Some days, I didn't even need to buy because sponsors would send samples for me to try. There are days though that my inner collector would make me impulsively buy makeup that I don't need at the moment. Haha!
Do you do a full face of makeup everyday? Definitely not! I feel that too much makeup everyday will irritate my skin plus the time it takes to do a full makeup everyday is outrageous!
Will you leave the house without makeup? I don't wanna be labeled as insecure or anything but I would never leave the house without even minimal makeup. I don't feel comfortable without getting my brows done or without under-eye concealer.

Do you wear makeup when you’re home alone or with family? No, I don't. They're used to seeing me barefaced at home so that shouldn't be a problem. They love me for me. HAHA!
How many high-end products do you have? Oh not much. I am not the type to collect high end and very expensive makeup although I know they're of good quality. I can only count with my fingers the number of high end products I have.. say around 6?
Do you plan your OOTD or decide when you’re getting dressed? Being a fashion blogger, I would go crazy with planning my OOTDs ahead even when I shop for new clothes. I would always think of what to pair it with or what accessories would go well with it. But now, as I got busier with things unrelated to fashion, I just decide what to wear when I'm getting dressed.
How often do you change your handbag? I am addicted to bags that I buy 3-4 pieces a month sometimes even more. I know it's a bad thing to be spending too much on bags. I change my bag every 2 days or depending on my outfit.

What time do you wake up and go to sleep? My body clock wakes me up at 7am no matter what time I went to sleep. Sleeping time for me would be 10-11pm. If I don't get sleep at 12mn, I get really cranky!
How often or when do you workout? Uhmmm.. like.. never. I play volleyball and badminton with my workmates at times so maybe that can pass as a workout? Haha
Left handed or right handed? Right-handed gal here! <3
How tall are you? I am 5'5'' and many would consider me a tall person especially when you're a Filipina.
Do you speak any foreign languages? Since I am Filipina, I could speak Tagalog and other dialects such as Chabacano (broken Spanish spoken by people in Zamboanga), Bisaya and a little Tausug. Other than that, well, can you tell that I can speak and write in English? Haha!

How many pets do you have? I have four lovely white dogs and they're a big family. Their names are Kookie, Fluffy, Boyon and Dokgu.
How often are you on Blogger? I always try to be on blogger whenever I can especially on weekdays. Weekends, not so much since I devote that to family time!
Do you read comments posted on blogs? I get the feeling that I'll only be annoyed reading comments not only on blogs but also on social media sites and yet I still read a couple of comments just to see how people are reacting on certain topics. Sometimes reading comments can be fun and hilarious too.
Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts? I tend to forget things quite easily so I write them down most of the time. Otherwise, if it's online I just visit the store and buy them right away.

How did you come up with your blog name? I named it after myself - personal urls were quite famous at the time I registered my blog.
What kind of camera do you use for your photographs? When I started blogging, my photos were really of poor quality - that's because I only had a phone to shoot with. Then I leveled up and got a Canon EOS 1100D DSLR. I also use my iPhone 5S on days when I don't bring my bulky DSLR with me.
How often do you clean your house? I am a working woman living with my parents and sibblings (and dogs) which means I am not home at daytime. I only have the weekends to clean, not the entire house, but at least my room. Hehe! Mommy keeps the other parts of our home sparkly clean.
What’s your favorite color? I am a huge fan of any shade of blue; followed by white and pastels.
Do you swear? When I get really pissed off, I can't help but swear (then ask forgiveness from God right after). But I always tend to use other terms you know like "pechay" or "coco banana" instead. HAHAHA!

What are you doing with the rest of your day? On work days, I would finish all tasks but take breaks in between to drink coffee/softdrinks, have light snacks, play with the puppies ( yes, we have pets at work ), play games on my phone/laptop and surf the internet. On weekends, I would film for a TV Show, meet up with friends, do a little shopping, have siesta, attend Church service, practice for the music department and all sorts of activities depending on my mood :)
