The Cut: Logo Concepts for Photographer Nathan Stracke

Remember this Understated Outdoors mood board? Here are a few logo concepts that came out of that mood board that never saw the light of day. In the end, we went with a logo design that very simple and more straightforward.

I’ve decided to start a new little blog series, The Cut, of concept designs that didn’t end up being the final design chosen by the client. These designs still feel worthy of being acknowledged, at least here on this blog. It’s nice to come back after a project completion and reflect upon the work a bit. I don’t often do that.

All the photos (except the tree trunk cross-section image mock-up) are by Nathan Stracke. Also, how about that first photo? That’s one of my very favorites.
