BURBERRY PRORSUM FALL/WINTER 2014

Last week in London and every time during fashion week, the Burberry Prorsum is not one to miss, by no means. Not only because Burberry knows how to put on a show and invite the hottest celebrities (eeeehm Harry Styles, Bradley Cooper please….) but because Christopher Bailey is a pure genius and knows how to create pieces that women will want to wear. If you didn’t get the chance to see the show on the live stream, you can check it out

here (let me know if you see me). The collection felt very artsy with some gorgeous hand-painted details and ethnic prints. And obviously, the initials cape from the finale that everyone will be wearing next winter. I’m telling you! Scarfs tucked in high-waisted belts, blankets over dresses and outerwear, you get the picture, it’s all about layering and mix and matching. Another collection from Mr. Bailey that I fell in love with.

On the next day of the show, I went to the Burberry HQ to re-see the whole collection in the flesh and I’m really glad I did because everything happens so quickly when you see the pieces come down the runway. Paloma Faith also got me carried away at the show as she was singing live. Having said that, I browsed through the showroom, felt and tried some of the pieces and in all honesty, there’s some fantastic statement pieces. My ultimate favorite was the coat pictured below… Can I have it on my back already? What’s you’re ultimate favorite piece?
