Casual Cosplay: Edward Elric
I love the idea of putting together outfits based on different fandoms and characters. But since I lack the budget to do such things on a regular basis, I live vicariously through Polyvore, putting together outfits based on movies, books, video games, etc.
This week’s casual cosplay is Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist.
For the bass of the outfit I chose black skinnies and a high neck black crop top. I thought the crop top would add a bit more interest than just a plan tank top. The blazer and the boots give a nice combination and contrast between sophistication and edge. The silver nail polish and metal bracelet are to simulate Ed’s automail and the pocket watch necklace is decorated with a transmutation circle. And the braid, well, because duh.
