Radiant Orchid, Pantone 2014 Color of the Year
As you are probably already aware, Pantone (the global authority on color), named Radiant Orchid the color of the year for 2014. Described by Pantone as an “enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones”, Radiant Orchid is a “captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm”. Charm me that indeed. As a self proclaimed girly-girl (and one who’s favorite color has been purple since childhood), Radiant Orchid is right up my alley.
Shown in many designer collections during the Spring 2014 Runway shows, Radiant Orchid will be everywhere in stores this Spring, and I can’t wait. It’s already popped up in the form of accessories, and I’m sure a lot more clothing pieces will be available shortly.
