Purple Ombre

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Yesterday, I attended a tea party at one of the prettiest stores I’ve ever been to, Blush. I’ll share pics of the event tomorrow, but here is what I wore to the lovely shopping party. When putting this outfit together, I started with this pretty purple Choies skirt, then added the other purple pieces to create an ombre feel from top to bottom. I really love the shading effect that was created, and I definitely plan to try this again in different hues.

A side note about this Choies skirt. This was my first time ordering from Choies, and I actually ordered this same skirt in red at the same time. Both were on sale for only $19. The material is quite pretty, however, the bottoms of both skirts were unevenly hemmed, and the button holes on both skirts were stitched closed. The skirts were much too long for me, so I had to have both hemmed regardless, which fixed the uneven hem. At only $25, I would certainly recommend purchasing these skirts, however, as you would guess for only $25, the quality is not top notch.
