Polish Picks

It's been ages since I did a polish post - for no reason other than I've been super lazy at regular manicuring and more often than not have been sporting chipped - or bare - nails.

I know this shade is touted as the Autumn shade, but actually I'm quite enjoying it as a demure alternative to the brighter hues associated with Summer. A warm-toned plum shade this was an easy two-coater for me. I have it on my desk at work for emergency meetings and touchups and my colleagues have been admiring it - definitely an Essie bestseller for a reason.
Essie Butler Please* | £7.99 here I am a sucker for a cobalt blue polish. If I could only wear one shade for the rest of my days, it'd be a cobalt blue. I think there's a versatility about it, enhancing bold outfits and adding an eye-catching twist to everyday casuals or officewear.

Essie formulations aren't my favourite - I'd always go for an OPI for longevity if I could - but there's something about their shade range that I think is unbeatable.
