Having a very demanding toddler and a newborn in the home is no easy task. I stay at home almost 24/7 to take care of the kids, the home and work. I almost forgot how difficult the first few months of having a newborn in the home but bringing a newborn to our toddler is something we haven’t experienced.
Thankfully our little guy has been sleeping through the night for at least 8 hours straight since he was about 2 months. Lately, all he wants to do is to be wide awake during the day with only taking a few naps. During nap-time I tried to do as much as possible like cleaning, working on blog projects and or even taking a short nap. I wake up every morning at 7:30am only because that is the time our little guy wakes up.
I’m not a morning person (I mean, who is?) and a little cup of Keurig coffee is what I need to fuel up the busy day ahead. After a tiring and exhausted day taking care of the kids, bedtime is the only time for me but by then, I’m just too exhausted to do anything. I’m writing this post as we speak at bedtime because sometimes is just the only way I get to relax and enjoy some free time alone.
