Don’t you love back to school season? Tax Free Day? the smell of fresh new school supplies? Yup, that’s me! Now that Aries is staring PreKinder so very soon, and her school supplies are purchased, I’d like to search for after school activities.

Verizon FiOS currently campaign for back to school is helping us parents to download and upload at the same speed. When you’re entertaining the kiddos while you cook or do some chores, I’d love for my kids to have a great internet speed so they can play their favorite educational games, and download her favorite games, pictures. Now a days, Internet for us is very important, because it’s part of my job. We use internet daily, sometimes all day long and in various applications and devices. Verizon FiOS quantum speed and now with Equal Speed, Aries can watch her favorite educational cartoon while I upload hundreds of photos on my computer at the same time and at the same speed. So helpful for parents with high schoolers. and college students during school season.

Getting ready to go back to school is actually pretty fun for me. I’m excited for my little girl to start school, hew new outfits, and new teacher, new friends just makes her and me excited to start a new school year. Below you will find a few tips for Back To School for prescholers I think are also important.

Tip 1: Take some extra time to get to know the other parents and teachers. Aries’ preschool is a private school and love that it’s a small class and parents are involved. Getting to know the new teacher and parents makes me feel at ease. Since Aries was bit by another little boy during those first few weeks of preschool last year, I knew I had to get more involved but thankfully the teachers were outstanding resolving the issue and teaching the kids, social skills.

Tip 2. Work on an after school activity together, maybe do some coloring, make a new place dedicated to display school projects, fun outdoor activity and/or a food crafting a snack you both can do together. This will develop a routine and be helpful in the near future.

Tip 3. Talk about that first day of school, and record what they say in video; that should be fun to see in a couple of years! I just thought about this the other day and I’ve been having so much fun interviewing her in video. Kids say the funniest things ever.

Now, if you want to watch a movie together, you can always rely on Verizon Equal Speed for a great online movie watching experience.
