Be brave {Free printable}

Note: If you didn’t already know, I heart Vanessa’s work! She’s a creative genius, and she offers a free printable every month here on C.R.A.F.T. She made this sweet “Hush Little Baby” printable in honor of Max and the “World’s Greatest Father” printable card! In honor of the 4th of July, Vanessa made this “Be Brave” printable that can be used all year long!

Hi everyone, it’s Vanessa from Tried & True again and I’m here to share this month’s free printable. I had originally planned on offering you a patriotic print for the 4th of July but there are so many awesome printables out there already, I thought it might be nice to have a non-traditional print that still focuses on patriotism and bravery but that could be displayed all year long.

In case you’re wondering about the process, I had so much fun hand-painting this entire print. I used Heidi Swapp’s Color Shine Sprays as watercolor for the background and India Ink for the lettering. This was my first experiment with the Color Shine Sprays and to tell you the truth, I’m in love! You can’t see it in the printable but the original has this amazing sheen and glimmer to it.
