OVER HYPED: Maybelline Mega Plush Volum’ Express Mascara

From Great Lash to Colossal, Maybelline has got a pretty good rep when it comes to making mascaras, but let’s cut to the chase; I found this mascara horrible. For me the formula of this mascara was wet, clumpy and goopy, it never seemed to really dry which resulted in numerous smudges… This brings me onto my next issue, the wand. Props to Maybelline for coming up with something different, but for me the wand just made this mascara 10x more difficult to apply. This mascara has a bendy, flexible wand (or as Maybelline call it a Flexor brush) which is meant to coat every lash for maximum volume, it definitely coats every lash but it also coats your entire eyelids too. And, if by volume they meant major clumps, then yes this mascara gives you maximum volume. Maybe I just got a bad batch? Either way, I didn’t like it.
