Swamp-like summer days call for gauzy dresses and this week has been no different. Its been hot and humid this past week and I swear I've lost 5 lbs in sweat alone - too bad I gain it all back by drinking water by the gallon load.
Enough of the icky part of summer... Isn't all the greenery behind me inviting? I have this huge park near me and here I am actually on the bridal trail - you can see the hoof prints from the horses that have tread through. I've been dying to get back to riding again (I rode english seat for 3 years) and now that I am closer to a riding stable I think Im gonna pick it back up again in the fall.
I really didn't try for the bohemian look today. But the combination of the belt, the scarf that was for practical use in keeping the sweat from dripping down my face and the curly thing my normally straight hair was doing, I kinda had no choice in the matter. I just love how my outfits ask for certain accessories and like a slave to the cause I put it all on.
