Happy Blog Anniversary!
Can you believe it? I've been blogging for 3 years! And I wore a dress for the occasion, so enjoy the read and the pictures, while I'm either at work or traveling for my weekend getaway. I'm also by the way celebrating the fact that I am on a diet, yes I've lost weight but more importantly I am eating healthier. When I first got this dress I could not even get into it, now its a bit loose on me, and even though I am not as toned as I would like to be I am happy that it fits! I am hoping to join a gym or get back into dancing so I can tone up and show more progress with my body shape. I will be happy no matter what the results will be in a few months, what I am more focused on is eating more fruits and veggies and less processed foods. Let us leave the weight issues for another blog post.
Now back to blog stuff. This blog technically is 2 years old but I merged everything together from Never Mind and Whatever to Black Shoes Diary and finally NYC On My Mind. I started to blog about everything from books I have read, to cars to sports, to DIY projects to finally fashion, but I still am evolving. Now that I have finalized a name, NYC On My Mind, a name that takes me back to my years of AOL chat rooms, MySpace and Live Journal, I can go anywhere. Will I stay with fashion or focus on NYC itself or will I do both? See thats my choice, since I own my blog and my life, I can focus on anything I like. My blog can have ADHD just like myself, we can't focus on one thing but we can set goals, goals are good as long as they aren't set too high.
I want to thank everyone who has been with me and my blogging from the beginning, yeah that maybe my two bff's David and Karen and my Mom, but many of you that I have met over the years through blogging. There have been many of time that I say, I want to end this blog but then I think of you guys, your spirit keeps me going through all the rough patches (I've had plenty of them.)
